Scopevault® has been designed in response to the requirement for a method of reprocessing instruments with non submersible components that require high level, non thermal disinfection. To date it has not been possible to provide a repeatable, validated and compliant method for reprocessing Trans Oesophageal Echocardiography probes (TOE or TEE probes) For the first time, Scopevault® allows for TOE probes to be placed inside an endoscope washer disinfector, and undergo a fully automated, compliant and validated reprocessing cycle. This provides safer instruments for both patients and staff and demonstrates due diligence on behalf of the organisation in reducing the risk of cross infection.

Scopevault®

We recommend Olympic Chemical System’s, Olympic Peracetic Acid as the disinfectant to be used with the SCOPEVAULT ® system as Philips medical have now approved it for reprocessing their TOE probes in conjunction with Olympic Enzyme Cleaner WD and the SCOPEVAULT ® system.

Our system is unique in the medical disinfection market with perfect results in thousands of cycles.

reprocessing of all instruments with nonsubmersible components in a way that is compliant with UK decontamination
standards has just made a signifi cant
leap forward.
Introduction of the Scopevault 100 has,
through its development, proved the
fl exibility of the unique scopevault seal.
Instruments with tube diameters of
between 2mm and 15mm can have the
fl uid susceptible components
protected by the pressurised ‘vault’ of the
Scopevault allowing the insertion tube or
catheter to undergo fully compliant and
automated reprocessing.

Scopevault®100 safely locks away the susceptible non-submersible
components in a pressurised vault.

The Catheter seen here with the scopevault® 100 is an ApneaGraph MG 412 Catheter used in the diagnosis of sleep-related breathing disorders and has a catheter diameter of just 2mm.
